ImageTree was founded in 1999 by Conrad Melanson and Rob Brunet to provide a comprehensive solution to marketing, communication and content production. In saying that they provide media in all mediums including web casting and ancillary services.

Melanson and Brunet met about ten years ago and found that their interests in the science and technology fields allowed them to play with all the toys. Melanson’s creative background of content producing after graduating from Algonquin, partnered with Brunet’s Bachelor of Science in Technology and MBA provided the perfect mix from a company who’s motto is “When people say it can’t be done – we offer solutions.” Their vision of being able to provide clients with the state of the art technology and facilities in combination with the creative content and experience, allows them to turn the sometimes impossible into an A to Z solution.

With the ability of seeing the future need and the existing difficulty to secure professional sound stages in Ottawa, the two partners, Melanson and Brunet financed the dream of building a much needed Studio space to their existing offices located just off Montreal Road.

ImageTree now offers the best Hollywood style production sound studio. With 950sq feet and 17 foot grid, this cyclorama is a much-needed space for the ever-growing capital city. Located in Canotek Business Park in Ottawa’s East End, this modest studio, allows ImageTree to offer a full range of production services all under one roof from pre-production office space to post-production editing facilities. With the newly appointed film commissioner, Ken Korrall in charge of the Ottawa-Hull film office, and his plans to slash the red tape that has stopped filmmakers and producers in the past from using the region for production. The hopes of bringing film and television production to the valley as the next destination for a production ‘hub’ in Ontario is finally becoming a reality.

Ultimately, ImageTree decided to open its doors. The uses of this fantastic space are endless and ImageTree is now proud to offer all of their colleagues in the production industry the use of the studio. ImageTree hopes to be a household name amongst industry professionals as a friendly production house that provides great studio facilities, creative support and production space to see if they can help you bring one of your productions to life.

This newly finishes space now offers producers and photographers alike a professional alternative to shoot commercials, grab stills of cars, set up for a one-set television series, provide an amazing space for talking head interviews or shoot scenes and music videos on film. The uses are endless. Just like the small studios found at Sunset-Gower studios in Hollywood, ImageTree’s air-conditioned studio has an easy access loading dock, double door studio access, free parking, production office space internet ready, accessible studio tie-ins and for bigger productions, an outside parking space for holding trailers.
